X-Men First Class as a high school comedy

The X-Men have always been one part superhero epic, one part soap opera, and one part teen angst. The fact that X-Men: Evolution was able to adapt the whole X-Men concept into an animated series with most of the main characters recast as high school kids speaks to that point. But what if they tried the same basic idea with the X-Men films? Some editing and a new musical score has allowed one YouTube user to turn X-Men: First Class into a high school comedy. Xavier and Magneto are best friends teaching the children at their school the meaning of friendship, trust and self-confidence, with all of the comedic beats and hormonally fueled encounters you expect from a typical teen comedy. You can check out the whole genre-flipping trailer below.
