Miracleman Book One: A Dream of Flying

Mavel Comics has released a new featurette tying into the release of Miracleman Book One: A Dream of Flying, which is returning to print for the first time in 20 years. The featurette has Marvel Editor-in-Chief Axel Alonso, Chief Creative Officer Joe Quesada, and Neil Gaiman discussing the importance Miracleman. Gaiman was partly responsible for brokering the deal that ended with Miracleman finding a home at Marvel after decades of the series being tangled up in legal battles.Following Alan Moore, Gaiman was writing Miracleman at Eclipse Comics when the publisher collapsed. Gaiman plans to finally finish his Miracleman story once the rest of the series has been re-serialized and returned to print. Miracleman is considered by many to be one of the most important superhero stories of the modern era and was one of the first attempts at deconstructing the genre.
