The Golden Trailer Awards recognize the creative people who make movie trailers, and the best examples of their unique art, in a gala award show. Every year the Golden Trailer winners are chosen through an open competition judged by film industry notables. On Friday night at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills, the winners were announced for the 15th Annual Golden Trailer Awards. Warner Bros. was the big winner taking home 15 Golden Trailer Awards, including the big prize of Best In Show for Gravity. However,  Marvel Studios was also a winner, scoring the only victory for a superhero movie. The Captain America: The Winter Soldier TV Spot "The World 60" won the Golden Trailer Award for Best Action TV Spot, over fellow superhero movie nominees The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and Thor: The Dark World. Captain America: The Winter Soldier was also nominated for Best Action Trailer, but the film lost that award to The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and X-Men: Days of Future Past were both nominated for Best Summer 2014 Blockbuster Trailer, but Godzilla wound up winning the award. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was also nominated for Best Summer 2014 Blockbuster TV Spot and Most Original TV Spot, but the film did not win in either category. The Avengers: Age of Ultron was nominated for Best Motion/Title Graphics, but Transcendence won the award.
