Drew Crevello, the former 20th Century Fox executive who helped reinvigorate the X-Men franchise with X-Men: First Class, has been hired on as Senior Vice President of Production at Warner Bros. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Crevello will be tasked with overseeing many different films in every stage of development and production, working closely with director, writers and producers. It's not clear whether DC Entertainment properties like the forthcoming Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League films are included in that, but it's difficult to imagine there are many people at high levels in Warner Bros. who won't be involved in developing and promoting movies of that scale. "Drew has a long history of developing and guiding character-driven films of every genre, which makes him a great fit for our team. He's strategic, exceptionally bright and knows firsthand the challenges and rewards of the creative process" said Greg Silverman, president of Warner Bros. production.
