Marvel's embattled Ant-Man may be closer to finding a director, although some of the reporting as to who's in the running seems to be a bit confusing.

Deadline are reporting that both Michael Dowse (director of Goon and What If) and Nicholas Stoller (Neighbors and Forgetting Sarah Marshall) are under consideration to direct the film.

That would throw their name on the fire along with Rawson Marshall Thurber and Ruben Fleischer, on whom we've already reported...but it isn't quite so simple.

Collider is reporting that Stoller is out of the picture already -- either that he was never being considered or what he was and has already abandoned talks.
