Guardians Of The Galaxy: Behind The Scenes Photo Of Bereet

In his latest Guardians of the Galaxy picture of the day, posted as he was touching down in Singapore to begin the film's press tour, director James Gunn has revealed a behind-the-scenes shot of Melia Kreiling as Bereet, along with Chris Pratt as Star-Lord.

In Marvel Comics, Bereet is mostly seen in Hulk comics. She's an alien artist and filmmaker who tells fictional tales about her cosmic adventures with the Hulk, and eventually makes her way to Earth to have some actual adventures with the Hulk and Rick Jones. It's still unknown how she'll factor into the plot of Guardians of Galaxy.

In Guardians of the Galaxy, After stealing a mysterious orb, American pilot/outlaw hero Peter Quill is hunted down and thrown into an inter-galactic prison. In order to secure his freedom, Quill reluctantly joins forces with alien bandits Drax, Gamora, Rocket and Groot to form an alliance of misfits known as the Guardians of the Galaxy, and with the all-powerful villain Ronan hunting the orb, the fate of the universe is in their hands.

Guardians of the Galaxy opens August 1.
