Lucasfilm and Disney have revealed a new villain from the upcoming animated series Star Wars Rebels, Agent Kallus (via HeroComplex).

A member of the Imperial Secruity Bureau, Kallus is ruthlessly loyal to the empire, hunting down both Rebels and sniffing out disloyalty among the Imperial ranks. He is also the right hand man of the Inquisitor.

Kallus has two notable features that cosplayers are sure to enjoy: a unique weapon, a modified honor guard staff, and rocking mutton chops.

"We definitely wanted to capture that '70s feeling that was so strong in A New Hope,'" says showrunner David Filoni. "Art director Kilian Plunkett and I looked at a lot of reference to try and make that influence fit into 'Rebels.' At one point we had [Rebel pilot] Zeb in bell bottoms…I'm hoping to see some people sporting that look at Comic-Con next year."

Kallus will be voiced by distinguished actor David Oyelowo, who has played roles in Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Lincoln, and The Butler.

Star Wars Rebels will premiere this fall on Disney XD.
