The Walking Dead: All-Out War All-Pencil Edition Hardcover Details, Cover Revealed

Skybound have released a look at the cover for Robert Kirkman and Charlie Adlard's upcoming The Walking Dead: All-Out War AP Edition hardcover, featuring the months-long epic battle between Rick's survivors and Negan's saviors with just Charlie Adlard's pencil art.

It will be the first time that the whole story is collected in full, and will be published in October -- likely just in time for a nice volume that's exclusive to New York Comic Con.

Adlard generally pencils and inks The Walking Dead, but during All-Out War, the book shipped twice monthly, followed by an oversized issue the month after the storyline completed. As a result, they had to take on an inker for Adlard in order to keep the book on schedule. The all-pencil edition, then, is the closest thing to Adlard's "normal" look on the book that fans are likely to get unless and until someday All-Out War is re-inked by Adlard for some reason.

The book is due in stores on October 1 and retails for $34.99.
