Ghostbusters 3 To Start Pre-Production In Spring 2015

Dan Aykroyd has been making the rounds to various entertainment shows to promote his newest film, Get On Up, which is a James Brown bio-picture. Of course, during his appearances, he's also been answering a couple questions about the status of Ghostbusters 3.

In an appearance on the Today show on Monday morning, Aykroyd said, "It looks like we'll be in pre-production in the spring [2015] now, from what I'm hearing. It should be good."

Aykroyd also shared some of his fondest memories of filming the first Ghostbusters movie in New York City.

"We owned the city here for a while, said Aykroyd. "I think the first day we went out, and we were stealing shots all over Manhattan. No permits, nothing. And we just went out on 5th Avenue in front of the library, we weren't even in the rigs, we were just walking along. And people, they didn't know who we were. They weren't reacting to us or anything. It was just great, and we thought this was going to be a great experience. And then we went out on Madison Avenue with the full rigs on, and it was pandemonium. Because people didn't know what we were yet. And here we are with the packs and the tube, that green tube that we have there. You know what that's for? When you see a ghost, you get scared, sometimes you lose it."
