It looks like Suicide Squad is proving to be most peoples' squad goals. With fans already insisting the film will be the best comic adaptation of the year, hype for the film is now reaching new levels following San Diego Comic Con. And, according to data from ListenFirst Media, Suicide Squad easily generated the most online buzz during the weekend-long convention.

When it came to film, Suicide Squad had the most buzz both before and during comic con. The upcoming film had +342k mentions prior to the event and generated over half a million over the weekend. These analytics, mind you, don't include Twitter so those numbers are guaranteed to be much, much higher than currently recorded. Surely, much of Suicide Squad's buzz came from Warner Bros. Hall H panel as the studio unveiled another theatrical trailer for the film. The cast of Suicide Squad was also in attendance, so social media was likely blowing up when Margot Robbie and Jared Leto hit the stage.

Surprisingly, Star Trek Beyond took second place with +426k mentions at comic con while Wonder Woman came in third with +366k. The Top 10 list is then rounded out with upcoming features such as Justice League, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Kong: Skull Island, Doctor Strange, Spider-Man: Homecoming, and Moana.

On the TV side of things, Game of Thrones led the pack with +163k mentions while Mr. Robot keeping a close second at +152k. American Gods, Luke Cage, and The Walking Dead also scored big buzz as the three titles premiered trailers for their upcoming seasons at the pop culture celebration.
