Tonight, The Flash will return with its second episode of Season 3, and a much-anticipated actor will appear. Tom Felton will join the series tonight as Julian Dorn, a forensic expert who clashes with Barry Allen. To celebrate, The CW had just released a featurette that welcomes Felton to the show.

The short video intermixes clips from The Flash with cast interviews. Actors like Carlos Valdes (Cisco Ramon) and Keiynan Lonsdale (Wally West) talk about how the show's addition of Felton will push The Flash to new heights.

"Adding Tom to the team was a brilliant move," Valdes said. "Tom has been great. He's been such a pleasant addition to the team. He offers a very unique dynamic. He's very smart, funny, and intuitive with his work. He carries a confidence and self-assuredness about himself and his work."

Lonsdale also gushed about the Harry Potter star, saying, "I was super excited when I saw the announcement that we gained Tom Felton. It was really cool. I think a lot of us grew up watching him."

"He's an awesome guy, so it's just good energy to have someone new around," the actor finished.

The featurette also shows fans a sneak-peek as to how Barry Allen and Julian Dorn will go on in the show. In previous interviews, Felton told fans his character is a rival to Barry.

"He's a forensic expert," Felton said, "so he treads on the toes of much of what Barry is good at. Hence they have a slightly abrasive relationship at first. I say abrasive, but I mean that – clearly because of the events of the season – none of the relationships that Barry has had with other cast members is the same."

"He's not familiar with me, but I'm familiar with him, so it's an odd dynamic. It seems like a love/hate thing at first," Felton finished.

Earlier this month, fans got a first-look at Felton on The Flash when Entertainment Weekly published photos of the actor in character. Felton spoke with the site as well and said he hoped there would be lots of Harry Potter references on The Flash.

"I'm so excited for the references [to Harry Potter]," Tom said, referencing Cisco Ramon's love of pop culture puns. "I don't doubt the talent and creativity of the writers. I've got a feeling they'll come up with some real good ones. I hadn't thought about me saying it — I assumed it would come at me from Cisco — but maybe I should give it to Cisco. Maybe he should misquote something and I could correct him."

Of course, many will be familiar with Felton because of his work on Harry Potter. The actor was cast as Draco Malfoy in the franchise and starred in all eight films.

The Flash returns tonight at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
