Oh boy, prepare to be invaded. Next week, The CW will finally debut this year's annual crossover special when Supergirl airs on Monday. The event will see the Kyrptonian hero team up with the Flash, Green Arrow, and the Legends of Tomorrow when a terrifying alien threat comes to Earth. And, now, fans are being shown just how dangerous the enemies are in a new clip of found footage.

"CLASSIFIED: We are not alone," the video teases. The footage is connected to DC's Legends of Tomorrow, and its grainy images show a brutal war between man and alien. Video footage shows soldiers from the 1940s doing their best to stave off an alien invasion, but they are ultimately foiled at every turn. At the end, fans are then shown a terrifying image of an alien making its way towards a fallen camera, and it's sharp teeth are on full display.

This is not the first time fans have been shown a live-action image of the crossover's extraterrestrial enemies. The alien race, which is known as The Dominators, are beings who can control minds and have a wish to conquer the Earth. The Invasion! crossover special will see the Arrowverse's heroes try to hold off the impending attack, but The Dominators are sure to pit the team against one another.

"This year, for our mega 'Arrowverse' crossover, we're taking inspiration from a DC crossover from the late 1980s known as Invasion!, which featured an alien race called the Dominators, who'd previously vexed the Legion of Superheroes," Arrow & DC's Legends of Tomorrow executive producer Marc Guggenheim told EW. "We're using cutting edge prosthetics and computer effects to achieve a feature film-quality look which is faithful to Invasion! artist Todd McFarlane's interpretation of the characters."

The site confirmed The Dominators story arc will closely follow the original comic miniseries. The aliens are said to have assembled on Earth and intend to eradicate the planet's growing metahuman community as they see it as a threat. Obviously, the heroes do not take kindly the persecution, and the two sides head into an all-out war that ends with one of their demises.

Supergirl airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT; The Flash on Tuesdays at the same time; Arrow on Wednesdays and DC's Legends of Tomorrow on Thursdays. All four series air on The CW. The "Invasion!" crossover will air beginning November 28.
