The current DC Cinematic Universe gets some flack for it's darker tone, both in terms of storytelling and visuals. This is readily apparent in the costume choices, which favor more muted and grayer color choices.
That has led fans to do their own coloring work on the costumes, including a recent version done of Ezra Miller's Flash. Reddit user The_Arrowverse submitted his own version of the costume with a much brighter color palette. It keeps some of the black armor accents, but it also brightens the yellow used for his glove accents, belt, and symbol. If you're a fan of the classic version, you'll probably much prefer this to the one seen in the film.
The_Arrowverse also worked up an all-red version of the costume, and you can see both in the gallery.
Flash will next be seen in Zack Snyder's Justice League, which you can read the official synopsis for below.
In Justice League, fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
Justice League is directed by Zack Snyder, from a screenplay by Chris Terrio, and features an ensemble cast that includes Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Ciarán Hinds, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Jeremy Irons and Jesse Eisenberg.
Justice League hits theaters on November 11, 2017, while The Flash lands in theaters on March 23, 2018.
