The CW has released a new video in which executive producer Andrew Kreisberg and visual effects supervisor Armen Kevorkian discuss the challenges of creating Earth-2's Gorilla City — a city inhabited by sentient, highly-intelligent apes and located deep in the heart of Africa — and having The Flash battle Solovar in the city's gladiatorial arena.
"We had to build a detailed version of Gorilla City, because you wanted that beautiful fly-through to it, and see what it's all about with the structures, the statues," explains Kevorkian in the video above. "And then we had to build different kinds of gorillas, to kind of populate the city with. So we did that, and there's a few generic gorillas that we built, so all of them don't look alike."
