DC And Kotobukiya Show Off Katana Statue

Late last year Comicbook.com published an article titled 5 Marvel Kotobukiya Bishoujo Statues We Still Want. We listed five Kotobukiya statues that we'd like to see - sadly 5 months later we've only seen one of them, an awesome Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel statue.

This week, though, on top of announcing a Poison Ivy Statue - From the Kotobukiya facebook page: The second in the Mad Lovers series, comes Poison Ivy! This ARTFX+ series renders female DC characters in a characteristic Kotobukiya style.

We will be getting another DC comic book character from Kotobukiya - Tatsu Yamashiro, aka Katana. While this one will not be in the same style as Poison Ivy - it's still just as amazing to look at.

With her beloved sword Soultaker by her side, Katana is ready to strike down her enemy. Interchangeable parts allow her eyes to be either hidden or showing behind her iconic mask. Katana is portrayed wearing black armor, red boots and standing 9.05 inches (23cm) tall on a special themed base.

The 1/7th scare statue will be available in November 2017 at BigBadToyStore.com and through the Kotobukiya website. You can't get it right now, but you can pre-order for $74.99, the list price is five bucks more at $79.99.
