A hero is not as good as the suit they wear, but it always helps to have some sweet threads. The CW is no stranger to the impact a well-fitted costume can have on some of DC Comics’ most famous heroes. So, it is no surprise to see a brand-new costume is in store for one of the network’s staples.
Earlier today, concept artist Andy Poon took to Instagram to show off a new costume coming for the Arrowverse. The artist left the following caption with the post:
“Arrow and Legends producer [Marc Guggenheim] shared this photo teasing that they already started working on the Arrowverse crossover for this year! Can't say what it is of course but cool things are coming so so tune and be patient! I have also officially finished my first few concept on suoergirl, so I guess I have officially crossed over all 4 shows as well.”
There isn’t much to gather from the suit itself. The black number appears to feature leather plating and looks like a covert number any hero would die for - well, except for the Flash. Barry Allen has a thing for primary colors.
Fans aren’t sure whether the costume is one a pre-existing hero will wear or if the Arrowverse is getting another superhero. There is a chance Elongated Man might don this piece since he’ll be coming to The Flash next season, but the outfit doesn’t seem to fit the character.

Of course, there are a few characters who fans think the outfit would suit. ComicBook’s Jenna Lynn wrote up the most likely candidates here, but her argument for Black Siren is hard to ignore.
“With Black Siren expected to undergo a redemption arc in the upcoming Arrow season, many have expected a new costume to come along with that,” Lynn wrote about Laurel Lance’s Earth-2 doppleganger.
