It won't be long until Arrow returns to television screens, and The CW is celebrating with a new poster.
The new Season 6 poster shows Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) drawing back his bow, in front of a cloudy background. The poster is marked with a loaded tagline - "live to fight another day". You can check out the poster, which was first shared on Amell's Twitter page, below.

The poster's tagline is pretty clever, considering what Arrow is setting up for its newest season. The aftermath of the Lian Yu explosion - namely, which members of Team Arrow survive it - will be a significant element of the season premiere. The fate of each of the characters will be revealed slowly over the course of the first episode, giving an extra significance to those who are able to "live to fight another day."
The tagline, in a way, also addresses the new mindset Oliver will be in, with him being motivated by the various hardships he has endured.
"The thing I ask myself whenever I'm reading a script this year and it comes down to an Oliver-based issue is, 'Is he handling this like someone who has learned lessons along the way?'" Amell revealed earlier this month. "If he's not, then we change it because if he hasn't taken away stuff from everything that has happened in the last five years, including and especially what happened at the end of Season Five, then if I were a viewer, I would be like 'All right, enough with this guy.'"
Arrow returns for its sixth season on Thursday, October 12 at 9 p.m. ET/PT following the season premiere of Supernatural on The CW.
