The CW just dropped a sizzle reel for Arrow's upcoming sixth season, and in addition to a tantalizing glimpse at what fans can look forward to now that Oliver's off the island, we're also getting a first look at Deathstroke's son.

Around the one minute and forty seconds mark in the video fans get a good look at Lucifer alum Liam Hall as the previously thought-to-be-dead Joe Wilson. Check it out in the video above.

In the quick look at the character it sounds like Oliver and his team might be in for a challenge with Wilson with the young man declaring that there no heroes and villains, just winners and losers and -- somewhat ominously -- stating that he knows exactly which one he wants to be.

Wilson's pronouncement is fitting considering the network's official description of the character:

The son of one of the Green Arrow's greatest foes, Joe Wilson has followed in his father's footsteps by joining the secret Australian military agency, A.S.I.S. After years of brutal combat, Joe now finds himself in a remote Kasnian prison under the alias, Kane Wolfman, fighting for his life.

Wilson will play an important role this season. At the end of last season, Oliver revealed to Deathstroke that his son was a live and promised to help locate him. Now Oliver will be asked to make good on that promise.

"We have this amazing story that is going to tie in with Oliver's dealings with his own son, as he helps Slade find Joe Wilson," executive producer Wendy Mericle previously told TVLine.

Of course, if that knife pointed at Oliver's eye turns out to be connected to keeping that promise, Green Arrow may be in for a bigger challenge than he anticipated.

Fans will get to see how Wilson debuts and what challenges he presents – including what's going on with that knife -- when Arrow returns for its sixth season on Thursday, October 12 at 9 p.m. ET/PT following the season premiere of Supernatural on The CW.
