The CW has released two new videos for 'Elongated Journey Into Night', tonight's fourth episode of The Flash's fourth season.
The episode will give viewers their first look at Ralph Dibny (Hartley Sawyer), better known as the DC Comics hero Elongated Man. As is seen in the promo, Ralph already has access to his stretching abilities, which puts him in a unique situation.
“We introduce two new friends of Team Flash." Executive producer Todd Helbing says in the clip. "The first is Ralph Dibny. Ralph is a private eye. What you learn is that he and Barry have this sort of checkered past. What Ralph discovers, in a hilarious sequence, is that he has the ability to stretch, and now he needs Barry and Team Flash to sort of help put him back together.”
The episode will also introduce fans to Breacher (Danny Trejo), the bounty-hunting father of Gypsy (Jessica Camacho).
“The other is Breacher, played by the amazing Danny Trejo." Hebling adds. "Breacher shows up at sort of the worst time possible for Cisco. [Cisco] finds out that [Breacher] doesn’t really like men dating his daughter."
The CW has also released a clip from tonight's episode, which shows Barry Allen/The Flash (Grant Gustin) and Joe West (Jesse L. Martin) going to visit Ralph.
Barry and Ralph exchange some snarky words, before Barry asks if Ralph was on board the bus that bestowed its passengers with metahuman abilities. Ralph doesn't give an answer, and asks the duo for something in return. They give up and leave.
The Flash airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on The CW.
