The CW has released a promo for 'Midvale,' the sixth episode of Supergirl's third season.
The episode sees Kara (Melissa Benoist) and Alex (Chyler Leigh) head home to their childhood home in Midvale. While the Danvers sisters are there for a little break from everything they've been dealing with in National City, as you can see in the promo above the flashback episode will explore Kara and Alex's history.
In a recent set visit, Leigh said the episode will show what the turning point in the girls' relationship was, but will also see Alex still having to deal with issues in her own life following the events of tonight's episode, 'Damage.'
"The episode we see after tonight's episode is the one where Kara and Alex go back to Midvale," Leigh explained. "It's a really, really cool flashback episode, where you see kind of the initial dynamic between Kara and Alex, and how that was really difficult for them in the beginning. And sort of what the catalyst was for the turn in their relationship. But at the same time, you sort of see Alex coming back and having to really figure some stuff out. But that's just the beginning of it."
Supergirl airs Mondays at 8/7c on The CW.
