DC has released a trailer for their upcoming "New Age of DC Heroes" publishing initiative, which will launch in January.

These new titles are illustrated by DC's best-known artists, including Jim Lee, Andy Kubert, John Romita Jr., Tony S. Daniel, Ivan Reis, Ryan Sook, Philip Tan and Kenneth Rocafort; they are written by some of comics' biggest names, including Scott Snyder, Jeff Lemire, Dan Abnett, James Tynion IV, Robert Venditti, Steve Orlando, Justin Jordan and Dan DiDio.

"What we've worked really hard to do is even though it is a new property, and that is really hard, we're integrating this from day one right into the wider DCU, so you're going to see a lot of those familiar characters that you know," Damage writer Robert Venditti told ComicBook.com. "And even though we as readers are seeing Damage's story for the first time, it's clear that Damage has been around for a while and we're just finding out about it now."

The line includes Damage, The Silencer, Sideways, The Terrifics, The Immortal Men, The New Challengers, The Unexpected and The Curse of Brimstone.

Art for each of the series, which blend new characters with DC's classic superheroes, can be seen in the trailer above.
