It isn't just any woman who can claim to bee Queen of Atlantis. Whoever she is, she has to be able to keep up with Arthur Curry, Aquaman, the King of Atlantis. In the case of the DC Extended Universe, where Aquaman is played by former Game of Thrones star Jason Momoa, that's an especially high bar to aspire towards.

A new video shared by Amber Heard on her Instagram feed shows that the actress is definitively putting in the work. Heard is set to play Mera, Aquaman's wife, in Justice League and Aquaman and, while her husband may be the one in the Justice League, Heard's video shows that her Mera will be quite capable of holding her own against anyone who tries to threaten her underwater kingdom.

"Another day at the office," Heard writes in the Instagram post. The video shows her training for Aquaman by running through some fight choreography against two men attacking her from opposite sides. Check it out for yourself below.

Aquaman currently has a 3.74 out of 5 ComicBook User Anticipation Rating, making it the 13th most anticipated upcoming comic book movie among ComicBook.com readers. Let us know how excited you are about Aquaman by giving it your own ComicBook User Anticipation Rating below.

Aquaman is scheduled for theatrical release on Oct. 5, 2018.

Before Aquaman hits opens in theaters in 2018, Heard will debut as Mera in Justice League. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Justice League is directed by Zack Snyder, from a screenplay by Chris Terrio, base on a story by Snyder and Terrio. Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher, Amy Adams, Willem Dafoe, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen and J. K. Simmons.
