Now that Activision has officially rolled out the next Call of Duty game that's coming our way, it's time for the hype to begin – and in a huge way.

The company has already posted a huge advertisement on the side of a building on Sunset Boulevard in California, and, as you can see from Sledgehammer Games' previously posted tweet, it takes up quite a bit of space.

In the photo, you can see the cover art for Call of Duty: WWII, with the soldier looking out upon his squad while keeping his hands folded and gripping onto a number of dog tags, along with the WWII title in the middle and the release date, November 3rd, on the top. A simple advertisement, yes, but also a very effective one. And Sledghammer takes full pride in it, noting, "Spotted on Sunset! #CODWWII"

More than likely, this is just the beginning for the game's tremendous advertising campaign. Along with setting up promotions in stores like GameStop and Best Buy, Activision will probably go the extra mile and have massive advertising pretty much everywhere during the Electronic Entertainment Expo, especially now that the company will have a public multiplayer set-up on the show floor (compared to last year, when it simply showed everything behind closed doors). That means we could see advertisements on the Los Angeles Convention Center itself, as well as on other buildings.

Of course, this is the perfect time to hype Call of Duty again, especially given the positive reception for Call of Duty: WWII, which is miles ahead of how last year's Infinite Warfare was received, with its futuristic theme not quite fitting in with fans of the series. Between this hype, pre-order bonuses and the ability for players to get their hands on multiplayer through a number of opportunities (including a private beta), the game should have no trouble being a best-seller.

For now, though, if you're in the L.A. area, take a drive down Sunset and check out the advertisement for yourself. This is just the start for Activision's forthcoming campaign, and we can't wait to see what's next.

Call of Duty: WWII arrives on November 3rd for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
