Dreamcast Classic Virtua Tennis Now Free Through Sega Forever Service

After a rocky launch, the Sega Forever service, which allows gamers to play classic Sega games for free on their mobile devices, is finally getting its first Dreamcast game: Virtua Tennis. Virtua Tennis Challenge was a special brush-up of the original Dreamcast game that launched in 2000, and for a while it's been available on mobile for $5. Starting today, it's completely free. If you never played Virtua Tennis on your Dreamcast then you're in for a serious treat. I never bought the game, but I had a demo that came with an issue of the Official Dreamcast Magazine and I sunk countless hours into that demo. It's one of the best-feeling sports games you'll ever play.

If you already paid for the game in the past, then you'll find the premium ad-free version already in your download history and you'll be good to go straight away. To be clear, the game is free for everyone, but for free players there will be a few non-intrusive ads. To get rid of those, you can pay a small, one-time fee.
