This Awesome Pokemon Card Shows a Hidden Moment from Pokemon Lore
Later this month, the Pokemon Company is releasing a new Pokemon Trading Card Game expansion [...]
How and Where to Get It
The crazy thing is that this Mewtwo-GX card is one of FOUR Mewtwo cards in the new Shining Legends expansion. The set also contains a "regular" GX card, a "Full Art" version of the card with textured holofoil and a purple background, a "Rainbow Rare" version made out of rainbow colored holofoil. So, the "Secret Rare" card will likely be pretty hard to pull from regular booster packs....if it's included in the US set at all.
There's also the issue as to how the Pokemon Company is releasing the Shining Legends set over in the US. These cards will only be available in special box sets that contain multiple booster packs and a promo card, so you'll probably have to shell out a few extra bucks (between $12-$15) just to get your hands on the Shining Legends cards.
On the plus side, we know that one of the Shining Legends boxes features a promo version of Mewtwo, so there's a chance that this card will be used as a promo card instead of another rare card in the set.
If you're looking to pick the card up on the secondary market, you might want to watch out. Secret Rare cards typically sell for $10-$15 under normal circumstances and could go for even higher if the card can be used competitively. Although Mewtwo's attacks might not look like much, there's a chance that its self-healing ability and its ability to do unlimited amounts of damage could make it viable for some players.
