Target Offers A Great Deal To Those Who Pre-Order Call Of Duty: WWII And Other Top Games

Are you planning to pick up any major upcoming games like Call of Duty: WWII, Assassin's Creed Origins, Madden NFL 18, or Super Mario Odyssey? I bet you are, and hey, even if you usually aren't the pre-ordering type, you may want to pop into Target and put a couple bucks down on games you already know you're going to get, as the retailer is offering a pretty sweet pre-order promotion.

According to the latest Target flier, putting down a mere $1 on a variety of big upcoming titles will get you 30 percent off any in-stock Xbox One or PS4 game. That includes new games, discounted games, and everything in between. As is so often the case, this deal is brought to us by the invaluable Wario64 on Twitter:

As you can see, it looks like Call of Duty: WWII, Star Wars Battlefront II, Middle-earth: Shadow of War, Assassin's Creed Origins, Super Mario Odyssey, Destiny 2, Madden NFL 18, and NBA 2K18 are eligible for this deal. Oh, and Target doesn't actually lock you into a buying a game when you pre-order it, so, technically, you could pick up pre-order cards for all these games and rack up some major discounts – if you only spent your 30 percent discount on full price $60 games, your $8 worth of pre-order cards could be worth $160 worth of savings. Not bad!

For those who don't know how pre-orders work at Target, you just grab a pre-order card for whatever game you want (they look somewhat like a gift card). They cost $1, but again, you're not actually locked into buying anything (aside from the card itself).
