Looking for some new territory to cover with paint in Splatoon 2 for the Nintendo Switch? Nintendo has you covered.

This morning, the company announced that it would be updating the hit paint shooter with some new maps across several different modes, so you'll have some fresh territory to mark as your own as you take on the best of the best at paint splatting.

First up, the company confirmed that a pirate ship-themed stage by the name of Manta Maria will be making its debut this Friday evening. The company noted on Twitter, "A new stage comes to #Splatoon2 Friday evening! All about the Manta Maria. No word on the buffet, but we hear the splatting is 5 stars!" You can check it out in the image below.

But that isn't all, as the company has revealed that it will also be adding the new Lost Outpost stage to the Salmon Run mode in Splatoon 2 starting tonight, with access to The Shoal and with online work-shifts. The game will support cooperative battles against incoming enemies, so get your friends together.

The company noted on Twitter, "#Splatoon2's Salmon Run mode is receiving a new stage, Lost Outpost! Available tonight via The Shoal and in upcoming online work-shifts." The map appears to be a rather large one, with lots of areas to shoot around.

Nintendo has already promised that it will continue to update Splatoon 2 with new content all year round, with new Splatfests for players to compete in, as well as new maps, weapons and other goodies to keep the paint flowing. So far, it looks like it's keeping good on its promise.

Splatoon 2 is available now for Nintendo Switch.
