For those who were a fan of the original horror game Betrayal at House on the Hill, a new game is coming from Avalon Hill called Betrayal at Baldur's Gate. The new game is making its way to table tops everywhere as the most fitting time for a horror game: Halloween.

The overall theme is that of ... yup, you guessed it, betrayal. "The shadow of Bhaal has come over Baldur's Gate, summoning monsters and other horrors from the darkness!"

The game is set up to where the players can build their way through mysterious catacombs. Exploration and expansion is a deadly task, because around every corner, there is something that is waiting to overtake you and your friends. Throughout the adventure, one lone evil force turns someone in your team against everyone else. It could be one betrayal, or several turned against you, but the sudden turn of events makes the old saying of "keep your friends close, your enemies closer," that much more vital. Monsters, fiends, pure evil - these are just a few of the terrors faced before the game is over.
