The third (and final) DLC in the Nioh line-up will be going live sooner than you think. The last installment to close out the Sengoku period is called Bloodshed's End and it is set to release later this month.

For those that have played the previous expansion, Bloodshed's End takes place directly where the previous DLC Defiant Honor leaves off. With the inner workings of the castle laid bare and vulnerable after the Siege of Osaka, a new uprising gives birth to an all new set of missions, challenges, and the introduction of an infinite battleground.

A new mode will be making its appearance called The Abyss. This new arena mode will test your resolve in the most challenging way ever. The wave-after-wave battleground setup will pit the player against a never-ending rise of enemies to put those skills to the test in an exhaustingly brutal way.

Specific details about the new mode are mum at this time, but closer to launch a new trailer is expected to reveal new details concerning all of the new characters, the new introductory levels, new Guardian Spirits and new Yokia.

Bloodshed's End will be coming to Nioh for the PlayStation 4 on September 26th. For those that have the season pass, the final DLC will download automatically or can be purchased for $24.99. This of course includes all of the previously released expansions including Dragon of the North, Defiant Honor, and Bloodshed's End. The Pass also includes an exclusive PS4 avatar.
