Android 16 Gets A Destructive Dragon Ball FighterZ Trailer

If there's one character you probably shouldn't underestimate in Bandai Namco's Dragon Ball FighterZ, it's Android 16. His immense size already speaks volumes, but he packs the kind of firepower that's usually reserved for small armies.

To prove as such, Bandai Namco has featured the green-armor clad character in his own trailer for FighterZ, which you can see above. Like most of the previous trailers for the game, this one's on the brief side, only showing a few snippets of Android 16's gameplay. But that's more than enough to give you an idea of what you're in for when you're going up against him.

First, after seeing his dramatic introduction (even though he's just pretty much standing up), you see several of his moves in action, including one where he grabs his opponent and slams them into the ground, then picks them up and flings them into a wall. Next up, he fires multiple projectiles at foes, which can keep them in the air long enough to maybe even land a couple more quick hits. And then there's his ultimate, in which he smashes a foe into the ground, loads up on his cannons, and fires off a devastating blast that could level a skyscraper in a matter of seconds.

And even though these moves are incredible, that's not the full extent of Android 16's power. He has a one-hit KO move, known as The Final Power That Should Not Be Used, and it probably takes quite a bit to pull it off. Still, it's weird that we wouldn't see that pop up in the trailer – unless we saw some sort of hint at it around the end of it. Nevertheless, Android 16 makes for quite the addition to the growing roster for the game. And we'll likely see even more combatants introduced in the weeks ahead, since we're just a couple of months away from its debut on the market.

Enjoy the Android 16 footage above, and, remember – you don't want to make him too angry, even if you have a powerhouse like Goku. You might just regret it.

Dragon Ball FighterZ releases on January 26, 2018 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
