Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege has been one of Ubisoft's big surprise hits over the past couple of years, drawing in thousands of players with its realistic, yet rewarding, multiplayer. But if you still haven't had a chance to check it out yet, don't worry – you're going to be getting a key opportunity very soon.

Ubisoft has announced that it will be holding another free play weekend for the multiplayer game, and it's not too far off. Players will be able to download the game and jump in for free from November 16th through the 19th, across the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC platforms.

The free-to-play weekend comes to a pretty pivotal time, as the publisher is getting ready to launch its fourth season of the game through its Technical Test server. The update, titled Operation White Noise, will be available to play on said server starting November 20th, and promises to introduce a new map set in a sky high observatory tower about Seoul's skyline in South Korea.

In addition, the new content will also bring in three new operators, including two members of South Korea's 707th Special Mission Battalion, along with a new operator from Poland's GROM.

While some players may be sore that they're missing out on White Noise this weekend, they can still partake in the abundant amount of maps and operators that are available to them. And they can always upgrade to the full version of the game, which will be on sale for up to 50 percent off across the board, on PC, Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Network. That's a decent savings, especially if you're looking for a teeth-rattling multiplayer experience.

More details on Operation White Noise are expected this weekend, during the Pro League Finals for Rainbow Six Siege, which airs on November 19th at 8:00 PM UK time. Those interested in checking out the competition can do so on the official Rainbow Six Siege Twitch page.

For everyone else, download the game and enjoy. But be prepared – this isn't your typical team-based shooter.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege is available now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
