It's been a few days since we've seen a new addition to the Xbox One backward compatibility program, but today brings some joy to those that have been waiting, with four new titles that can be enjoyed on your new console.

Larry "Major Nelson" Hyrb confirmed the new titles today, and they should be available to purchase and download by the time you read this. And Persona fans will especially want to take note, as one of their favorite fighting games joins the fray.

Speaking of that title, it's none other than Persona 4 Arena, which takes a number of characters from the popular Atlus universe and puts them in fighting action. Developed by Arc System Works – the same team putting together Dragon Ball FighterZArena is a great title for those looking for a good brawl. Quick note, though: only Arena is backward compatible at this time. Persona 4 Arena: Ultramax is not.

Next up is Cars: Mater-National, a driving game that features characters from the hit Disney/Pixar franchise. This one's a fun one for kids, featuring a number of racing events and lovable characters, as well as a few challenges for the adults as well. It may not be as packed as this year's Cars 3 release, but it's still pretty good.

Jewel Quest is up next, and it's a classic match-three puzzle game with dozens of levels to enjoy. It's a bit on the older side when it comes to Xbox Live games, but still very much affordable if you're a fan of the genre.

Finally, there's one that football fans will love – Tecmo Bowl Throwback. Released years ago, this game celebrates the legacy that first came with the NES, with Tecmo Bowl and Tecmo Super Bowl, but with bumped-up visuals and the ability to play others online. For those looking for football action outside the world of Madden, this is a key choice.

These games are available now, and hopefully we'll see a few more titles added later this week, especially with Microsoft putting a ton of games on sale this weekend for its Black Friday sale. We'll see soon enough.
