When news first broke that Ryan Reynolds, most recently known for his Deadpool role, would be voicing Pikachu in the upcoming Pokemon live-action film - the internet instantly started freaking out. Some thought it was the hilarious move of the century, while others were downright upset that Danny Devito wouldn't be claiming the role. What everyone can agree on, however, is that the fan reaction is priceless. Just take a look at this sweet new "shocking" fan-made poster below:

"Just heart the news [...] Ryan Reynolds is #DetectivePikachu. I have never wanted to hear Pikkachu speak more than right now XD." Instantly, the responses came pouring in with hilarious additions to the excitement. And of course, Deadpool Pikachu made his much needed appearance about 100 times.
