UPDATE: Escayg has just posted the following on Instagram, confirming his role in one of Square Enix's Avengers projects. He didn't make it clear which one, but congrats to him on the new gig!
ORIGINAL STORY: While working with an ideal company sounds like the perfect career, there are those that yearn to try something different with their career. And it seems like a Naughty Dog veteran is headed in that direction.
Creative director Shaun Escayg, who previously worked on last year's hit Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, has announced via Twitter that he's leaving the company. He hasn't revealed what he's working on next, but there's a pretty good possibility that he could be joining Crystal Dynamics to work on a yet unnamed Avengers title. That's not 100 percent confirmed though.
"Seven years ago, I joined the talented team at @Naughty_Dog on a project still in its infancy, The Last of Us," he noted in his tweet. "Well, the rest is history. Left Behind, Uncharted 4 were fleeting and Uncharted The Lost Legacy pushed my creative growth even further – I will miss all my dogs."
