So when you beat Dishonored 2 – both times over, no less – you probably thought that was the end of the story. Well, you'd be wrong, as Bethesda has announced that it's expanding it with some new content, set to arrive this September.

Titled Death of the Outsider, the new add-on doesn't follow the main characters from the main game, but instead focuses on Meagan Foster, who provided a number of quests in the original release. This time around, she'll be in control, as you'll be using her powers to partake in "a story of revenge" that will focus on "the ultimate assassination."

While the trailer that was featured during tonight's Bethesda E3 presentation was a bit on the short side, it does provide an idea of what to expect from Meagan's powers. This includes being able to traverse around buildings and other parts of the city very quickly, as well as being able to manipulate certain enemies by producing noise, thus setting up the opportunity to calculatively take them out. You'll also be able to work your way through walls via teleportation, so you can jump on certain enemies should the situation call for it (and, hey, who says it won't?).

In addition, you have some great weapons that will be at your disposal, although we didn't see them all in action just yet. The game will be playable at E3 over the next few days, so we should have more details for you as they become available.

In the meantime, enjoy the trailer above, which also features Daud, who was in the original Dishonored, mainly in the Knife of Dunwall DLC. The main goal seems to be taking on the Outsider…though we're still waiting to see who that is.

Death of the Outsider is set to arrive on September 15th. It appears to be a separate release from the game (not DLC as previously reported), but it's priced cheap at around $30. Thus far, it's looking pretty good – and it'll give fans another opportunity to return to the game, even if they've already beaten it.

Dishonored 2 is available now for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
