Since the original Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite trailer debuted back in December at the PlayStation Experience event, we figured that the PlayStation press conference would be the place where we got a peek at a new trailer for the fighting game – and we were right!

A new trailer debuted for the game tonight during the PlayStation E3 press conference, and debuted with a number of new characters, including some that were previously hinted at, like Thanos, Arthur from Ghouls 'n Ghosts, Gamora from the Guarians of the Galaxy, and more.

But there's a kicker that was added to the end of the new trailer – a story demo! Yep, you can actually download a story demo for the forthcoming fighting game on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One NOW. We'll get into it and provide our impressions of what we find in it later on the site.

The idea of playing a demo this early -- and giving players an idea of what to expect from the game's balanced battle system with 2 vs. 2 components -- should be a great way to get them excited months before the release. The demo should be releasing for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 any minute now, according to Capcom.

For now, though, we're scouring through the trailer to see what new faces we see. There's Nathan Spencer from Bionic Commando, Chun Li from Street Fighter, Nova, Dante from Devil May Cry, Doctor Strange, some kind of new overlord helping out Sigma Ultron...and we're just getting started. See it for yourself above, and then try out the demo. It hasn't become available in the PlayStation Store just yet, but since the press conference just came to a close, it shouldn't take too much longer to pop up, so you can try it out for yourself.

And if you're going to E3 this year, you can probably check out the game for yourself at Capcom's booth, where it will no doubt have a bevy of fighters to check out. Who knows, you just might be lucky enough to try out Thanos!

Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite releases on September 19th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.

UPDATE: The PlayStation Store demo is available now, and Xbox One should be available shortly! it has four playable characters: Iron Man, Captain Marvel, Mega Man X, and Chun-Li.
