During the big Team Captain America and Team Iron Man fight at the Leipzig Airport, Vision comes to Scarlet Witch's aid. They share a tender moment, and he experiences the human emotion of love toward Wanda. The burgeoning feeling distracts him, and when he tries to assist his teammates by shooting at a pesky Falcon out of the sky, he accidentally hits Rhodey/War Machine (Don Cheadle) instead.

"What happened there is that his judgment was clouded there by real love and affection," Bettany told Entertainment Weekly Radio. "And he responded in a quick and thoughtless way.… I really love that the moral compass of the movie is this synthetic person who's trying to figure out what it means to be human. It's a neat idea, you know?"

Listen to Bettany's comments in the audio player below.

In Captain America: Civil War, governments around the world hold Earth's Mightiest Heroes accountable for their actions, despite the amount of lives they've saved. Heroes divide as Captain America (Chris Evans) and Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) butt heads, and fists, while fighting for what they believe in! Catch a glimpse of the action in front of and behind the camera above.

Marvel's Captain America: Civil War is now playing in theaters!
