Children's Healthcare of Atlanta welcomed Tom Holland and his Spider-Man: Homecoming co-star Jacob Batalon to Seacrest Studios to spend some quality time with the kids. Excited children and even parents took the opportunity to take a few selfies with Spider-Man in his new suit as he signed some personalized autographs and posed with the happy crowd.
He's already following in the footsteps of his fellow Marvel superhero stars Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), and Chris Evans (Captain America) as they have all spent time in various children's hospitals as well.
Holland is currently filming Spider-Man: Homecoming in Atlanta and decided to take the day off from the set and make some special kids very, very happy. In a short interview, Holland explained what Spider-Man means to him, proving that he is a real fan of the webslinger:
"Spider-Man has always been such a huge part of my life, a real eye-opener for me is - I was shooting a movie in Colombia in the jungle with [director] James Gray and there was a little kid in the jungle running around with Spider-Man shoes on. So, there isn't a corner of the Earth that Spider-Man hasn't made his way to."
You can watch the rest of the interview and lots of smiling faces in the video below:
Spider-Man: Homecoming is set to release on July 7, 2017.
