Take a deep breath, the wait is almost over. Tuesday marks one month until the release of Marvel Studios' latest film, Doctor Strange.
If you just can't wait another month, and you just have to get your ticket, you're in luck! On Twitter, AMC announced that tickets for Doctor Strange will be available for presale as early as October 11.
Many big names blockbusters begin their ticket sales weeks ahead of the premieres of the films, so the news isn't much of a surprise. The idea is that people will buy their tickets ahead of time, in fear of the show selling out, and theaters will add more screenings to the night since they have enough time. If a show sells out just a few minutes before it is to be screened, the theater doesn't have time to shift around their schedule.
AMC released this information in response to another Twitter user. After they were mentioned, asking when tickets would go on sale, the official AMC Guest Services account immediately responded with an answer.

It is unclear when other theater chains, such as Regal and Carmike, will announce their presale date, but it is safe to say it will be around the same time.
Doctor Strange stars Benedict Cumberbatch as renowned surgeon, Stephen Strange. After an accident that cripples his hands, Strange travels the world for answers. Along his journey, he runs into The Ancient One, who teaches him the dark art of magic.
The film is written and directed by Scott Derrickson, and premeires in the US on November 4, 2016.
