It seems to be the question du jour: What did you keep from the set? Actors and directors alike sometimes try to take a little souvenir home, and usually get the studio's blessing. Sure, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story director Gareth Edwards took home a good one: he took the actual Death Star plans (the drive that housed them in the film) home; appropriate for a movie about stealing the Death Star plans, right? Ryan Reynolds, of course, took home one of the actual Deadpool costumes, and director Tim Miller's Blur Studio have a Deadpool head in their office. But Scott Derrickson had time for one item when he was done with Doctor Strange, and he took the best of the bunch: The Eye of Agamotto, home to the Time Infinity Stone.

During a twitter Q&A Derrickson proudly revealed what item he took home. "I KEPT THE EYE OF AGAMOTTO!" he said in all caps.

As far as props to steal go, the top magical artifact and housing unit to an Infinity Stone is a pretty great one. Having seen the prop in person while on the set, I can tell you that Barry Gibbs, propmaster, and his team crafted an incredible piece; and while it doesn't open the way it does on screen, it still looks like it could legitimately be a magical artifact.

In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we've been gradually introduced to the Infinity Stones, phenomenal objects of cosmic power. We've seen Mind, Power, Space, Reality, and Time, with only the Soul Stone remaining to be revealed. At least we know the Time stone in our universe is under the watchful eye of Scott Derrickson.

Doctor Strange is now available on Digital HD, DVD, and blu-ray. The character will next appear in Thor: Ragnarok this November, then in Avengers: Infinity War, filming now for a May 2018 release.
