Marvel's Inhumans Season Finale Director Revealed

While we await the official trailer for Marvel's Inhumans, more information continues to come out regarding Marvel's latest television project.

So far we've gotten a teaser as well as the first look at Lockjaw the teleporting dog and now, we know that a veteran director from Agents of SHIELD will be credited as the director on the season finale of Inhumans.

In a recent Instagram post (via MCU Exchange) by director Billy Gierhart, it was revealed he'd be directing the finale on location in Hawaii.

Gierhart took to the photo-sharing app to share a picture of his wife and a beautiful Hawaiian sunset.

"Staying at Disney's Aulani Resort while filming the Season Finale of Marvel's Inhumans in Hawaii had some incredible advantages," the Instagram post said. "This was taken on a day during prep when we finished early enough to get back to Aulani for the sunset."

Having directed a number of Agents of SHIELD episodes, Gierhart also directed the Marvel's Most Wanted pilot that never made it to series. He also directed an episode of Jessica Jones — 'AKA Take a Bloody Number.'

“After the Royal Family of Inhumans is splintered by a military coup, they barely escape to Hawaii where their surprising interactions with the lush world and humanity around them may prove to not only save them, but Earth itself.”

Marvel's Inhumans stars Anson Mount (Black Bolt), Serinda Swan (Medusa), Ken Leung (Karnak), Isabelle Cornish (Crystal), Eme Ikwuakor (Gorgon), Iwan Rheon (Maximus), Sonya Balmores (Auran), Mike Moh (Triton), and Ellen Woglom).

Marvel's Inhumans will premiere the first two episodes in IMAX on September 1. The full series will debut on ABC later this fall.
