Marvel's 'Spider-Verse' of characters has plenty of wall-crawling heroes and villains for fans to enjoy. In recent years, one of the most popular ones has become Spider-Gwen, the alternate universe version of Gwen Stacy. And now, fans can bring a pretty awesome statue of her into their own universe.
The Marvel Comics Spider-Gwen Statue was recently unveiled by Mondo, the popular collectible company. The 14.25 inch tall statue, which is inspired by a poster from Phantom City Creative, shows the teenaged hero perched on the needle of a building.
Accompanying the statue are two interchangeable right hands - one of which slings a web, while the other has a cell phone, making the hero appear as if she's taking a selfie. Mondo will also offer an exclusive version of the statue, which includes an unmasked Gwen Stacy head.
You can read the official description for the statue below:
"Based on Phantom City Creative’s gorgeous art print, this statue shows Spider-Gwen (aka Spider-Woman, aka Gwen Stacy) either spending a quiet moment perched atop a high-rise building taking a selfie after a day of being a hero, OR slinging a web to swing into action! It’s your choice, as she comes with interchangeable web-shooting and selfie hands!"
If you want to own the Spider-Gwen statue, the regular version will retail for $195, while the Mondo exclusive will cost you $200. Pre-orders are currently available for the statues, which are expected to ship in the first quarter of 2018.
