Hayley Atwell Returns As Agent Carter For 'Marvel's Avengers: Secret Wars'

Hayley Atwell, the fan-favorite actress who played Agent Peggy Carter in numerous Marvel projects including her own self-titled TV series, returns to the role this weekend in a new episode of Marvel's Avengers: Secret Wars.

In the episode "New Year's Resolution," past and present collide as Howard Stark and Peggy Carter team up with Iron Man and Captain America to save the time stream from Kang the Conqueror.

Voicing Peggy in the episode is none other than Hayley Atwell, who played Peggy both in several Marvel Studios films – beginning with Captain America: The First Avenger – and then in her own TV series, Marvel's Agent Carter.

You can check out a clip of Atwell's return as Peggy above, as Peggy and Cap -- along with Iron Man and his father Howard Stark, decked out in his own armor, team up to fight Kang.

The latest episode of Marvel's Avengers: Secret Wars, titled "New Year's Resolution," airs on Sunday at 8:30 a.m. ET/PT on Disney XD.
