'Avengers: No Surrender' Kills Off Major Marvel Character

Marvel has teased that their upcoming Avengers: No Surrender event will not be shy about killing off characters, and the new preview backs that talk up.

Spoilers incoming for Avengers: No Surrender #676, which releases next year, so if you'd rather not have events spoiled for you you've been warned.

It seems that Earth itself has been stolen, and the heroes on the planet are dealing with chaos on the streets. That results in explosions, cave-ins, and more, and caught in the middle of that on a grocery run is Jarvis and Nadia Pym. They start helping civilians in the area as debris falls from the sky, including a young boy that is about to be crushed by some. Jarvis sees him in time to push him out of the way, but when Nadia turns around all she sees is the young boy safe and sound while Jarvis' hand sticks lifeless out of a pile of rubble.

Comics tease death all the time, but without any powers or shields of his own, this seems like a pretty certain death for the longtime Avengers ally. The lifelessness of his hand seems to confirm that fact, but fans will have to wait and see if it is as final as it seems.

Marvel has said No Surrender will not shy away from death, so expect more to fall in the crossover between Avengers, Uncanny Avengers, U.S Avengers, and Occupy Avengers as the story moves along.
