The anticipation for the next epic crossover film from Marvel Studios is starting to swell, especially after the long-awaited trailer finally debuted.

But now the hype train for Avengers: Infinity War is starting to leave the station, as actors are starting to promote the new film at press events across the globe.

Actors Karen Gillan and Pom Klementieff appeared in a new photo on Instagram where Gillan said they're promoting the crossover between the Guardians of the Galaxy, the Avengers, and many other heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Check it out in the photo below.

The photo further teases the involvement of the Guardians in Avengers: Infinity War, which many fans have been anticipating for a long time.

Klementieff's character Mantis briefly appeared and the end of the trailer, alongside her teammates when they meet Thor.

That scene was fleshed out in the footage for the film shown at Disney's D23 Expo and San Diego Comic-Con, where the God of Thunder crashes into the Guardians' ship in the middle of space. Though he's unconscious, Mantis awakes him by using her mood-manipulating abilities.

Gillan's character Nebula has yet to be seen in the footage or the trailer, though it's apparent she'll have a major role in the film.

Nebula and her sister Gamora (Zoe Saldana) are daughters of Thanos, the main villain in Avengers: Infinity War. Though they fought each other in the last two films, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 ends with the two coming to an understanding, though Nebula leaves her sister in an attempt to find and kill their father.

When Thanos arrives on earth, he'll not only have to contend with Earth's Mightiest Heroes but their space-faring allies as well.

We'll find out how the Mad Titan's quest to obtain the Infinity Stones turns out when Avengers: Infinity War premieres in theaters on May 4, 2018.
