Sometimes the thing you've been looking for has been right beside you all along and you don't even realize it.

In the case of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 spoiler-hunters, a major moment from the most recent entry to the Marvel Cinematic Universe was right in front of our faces from the days of concept art being the only images of the film we had. One of the earliest images released from the Marvel Studios project showed off one of the most exciting moments from the film's finale.

Spoilers for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 follow!

As Peter Quill and the Guardians of the Galaxy stood strong to take on Ego the Living Planet in an effort to stop his "expansion" plans, they were surrounded by flames and chaos. In fact, their ship had just blown up, causing Nebula to fall to the ground with the rest of the Guardians as Peter and Yondu fell from the explosion more gracefully behind her.

On their way down, Peter used a jetpack to keep himself from falling too quickly while Yondu held onto his arrow for the moment which lead to his iconic belting of, "I'm Mary Poppins, y'all!"

Little did we know, the first glimpse of this scene was revealed in the earliest concept art for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2! Check out the exact image below.

This moment lead to the heroic shot of the entire updated roster of the Guardians of the Galaxy standing together ready to take on Ego the Living Planet's final stand. Of course, it ended with a moment which was thoroughly revealed in the trailers where Mantis is hit by a falling rock and Drax reacts by telling her to "look out" far too late.

Sometimes, the spoilers are right in front of our faces and we're all busy looking to analyze them too deeply to notice!
