Marvel is invading you kitchen with officially licensed small appliances, like waffle makers, kettles, coffee pots, and more.
This is Marvel's first foray into the small appliance market, one of the few areas of your life that the company hasn't already managed to put one of their characters' faces on. It expands their line of home goods that already includes sheets, towels, and other linens.
"We are always looking for new ways to expand our presence in the college and housewares markets to meet the growing demand for innovative new home goods, beyond the traditional linens, that capture the essence of our characters and franchises like never before in this category," Paul Gitter, senior vice president, licensing, Marvel at Disney Consumer Products tells Licensing.biz. "These new products will offer our fans creative and exciting ways to showcase their fandom through their everyday style both in their homes and at college."
Select Brands will produce Avengers branded waffle makers, toasters, coffee makers and more, while Robe Factory introduces an Iron Man themed mini-fridge. There will also be drink ware from companies like Vandor, Thermos, and Silver Buffalo, kitchen utensils and aprons from Icup, and flameless candles from Northern International, featuring the Avengers and Spider-Man.
The products are expected to release later in 2015.
