Venture Bros.' James Urbaniak Joins Marvel's Agent Carter

Buried in last week's plot synopses of the first two episodes of Marvel's Agent Carter is a mention of the fact that actor James Urbaniak -- better known to fans as Dr. Rusty Venture from Venture Bros. -- will appear in the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. spinoff/prequel as an as-yet-unnamed scientist.

Is it too much to hope that he's a neurotic, cowardly pill-popper? Possibly.

Ubaniak will apparently appear in the pilot. It's hard to guess whether he could pop up again in the series or was just somebody who popped by during pilot production for a short appearance.

Agent Carter will premiere with back-to-back episodes on ABC starting January 6, 2015 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
