Michael Bay has said that Transformers: The Last Knight will be his last entry in the franchise, but his star Mark Wahlberg doesn't think the ship has completely sailed.
In an interview with ComicBook.com, Wahlberg was asked what the future holds for Cade and his response indicates that Bay might not be done with the franchise just yet.
"You know it's one of those things where Michael has built this entire universe right, and he will decide what he wants to do and how he wants to do it. While he might be a bit fried at the moment, Wahlberg thinks after some time has passed, Bay won't be so willing to let go.
"So he'll decide that and I would be hard pressed to see him walk away and put it in somebody else's control and care. I mean, that's just the Michael that I know, but you never know, sometimes people decide to move on, so we'll see what happens."
