It should come as no surprise to the geek culture crowd that Star Wars and Justice League are building the biggest buzz on social media.

According to comScore's PreAct service, Justice League generated 190,000 new conversations last week. That followed Warner Bros. beginning to up its marketing game in regards to the DC Films team-up movie, including the release of a new Justice League trailer at New York Comic Con. Justice League opens in theaters on November 17th.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi generated 123,000 new conversations built on anticipation from new posters and clips of footage leading up to the release of the new Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer during Monday Night Football. That number does not take into account the conversations that followed the release of the trailer. Star Wars: The Last Jedi has generated 2.8 million new conversations in total with two months to go until its December 15th release.

Marvel's Thor: Ragnarok generated about 80,000 new conversations last week as Disney began intensifying its marketing campaign in the run-up to the movies early November release. These efforts include branded Thor: Ragnarok Twitter emoji and new footage from the film. Thor: Ragnarok has generated 1.28 million new conversations in total. The movie opens in theaters on November 3rd.

Universal and Legendary's Pacific Rim Uprising generated 58,000 new conversations last week, largely on the hype from the release of the first Pacific Rim Uprising trailer at New York Comic Con. The sequel opens in theaters on March 23, 2018.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be followed by Star Wars: Episode IX on December 20, 2019. The still-untitled Star Wars standalone movie about Han Solo is scheduled for theatrical release on May 25, 2019.
